Everything you need
to know about errander
Whether you're a business, an individual, or someone looking to earn — this is how the platform works.
Hiring an errander as a private person
Yes — anyone can post a task. You don't need a company to hire help. Need someone to pick up a package, stand in a queue, or run a quick errand? Post it, set a price, and get it done.
- 1Create an account and post your task with a description, location, and price.
- 2Verified erranders apply — review their profiles and pick the best fit.
- 3Pay into escrow. The errander is paid only when you confirm the task is done.
- 4Leave a review to help the community.
Hiring erranders as a business (B2B)
Absolutely. Businesses use errander for field marketing, brand activations, office errands, and on-the-ground tasks that AI can't do. Post tasks on behalf of your brand — no special account needed.
- 1Post tasks just like any user. Add your company name in the task description if relevant.
- 2Use the finder's fee feature to incentivise your network to refer the right people.
- 3Scale by posting multiple tasks at once — each is its own bounty.
- 4Need recurring help? Re-post completed tasks or message erranders you've worked with before.
Earning money by completing tasks
Sign up, get ID-verified via BankID, build your profile, and start applying to tasks in your area or remotely. You get paid automatically when the poster confirms completion.
- 1Create an account and complete BankID verification to unlock applications.
- 2Build your profile — add a bio, skills, hourly rate, and location.
- 3Browse open tasks and apply with a personal message.
- 4Complete the task, confirm with the poster, and receive your payout via Stripe.
Escrow, payouts, and finder's fees
Errander uses Stripe for all payments. Funds are held in escrow until the task is confirmed complete — neither side can lose money unfairly.
- 1When you accept an applicant, payment is captured and held in escrow.
- 2The errander completes the task and marks it done.
- 3You confirm completion — funds are automatically transferred to the errander.
- 4If you set a finder's fee, the referrer is paid out at the same time.

Common questions
Can a business create a company account?
Not yet — right now all accounts are personal. Businesses post tasks under their own name or use the task description to clarify it's a brand. A dedicated business account type is on the roadmap.
Is errander B2C or B2B?
Both. Individuals hire for personal errands (B2C). Businesses hire for field marketing, office tasks, and on-the-ground work (B2B). The platform works the same way for both.
What if the task isn't completed properly?
You can dispute the task before confirming completion. Funds stay in escrow until the issue is resolved.
Do I need to be ID-verified to post a task?
No — anyone can post. ID verification (BankID) is required for erranders who want to apply and get paid.
Can I hire the same errander again?
Yes. Once you've worked together you can message them directly and post a new task.
