Acceptance

By creating an account or using errander.eu you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What errander is

Errander is an online marketplace where people post bounties (tasks) and erranders apply to complete them. Errander provides the platform, not the underlying service that erranders perform in the physical world.

Accounts and conduct

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.

You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must not misuse the service, harass others, break the law, or attempt to circumvent payments or verification.

Posting tasks

Tasks must be lawful in Sweden and the place where they are performed. No illegal work, nothing dangerous without clear agreement and compliance with law, no discrimination, and no requests that violate third-party rights.

We may remove tasks or accounts that breach these rules or harm the community.

Prohibited and Restricted Categories

The following task categories are prohibited on the platform and cannot be posted: driving/passenger transport for payment, electrical work, plumbing and gas work, cash handling, gift card purchases, creating accounts on behalf of another person, collection of prescription medication, and purchase of alcohol or tobacco.

The following categories require the errander to be BankID-verified: tasks involving access to a home or keys, babysitting, indoor pet care, home cleaning, elderly assistance, and moving or packing within a home.

Tasks involving out-of-pocket expenses (purchases of goods, tickets, or groceries) require the poster to set an expense limit. The errander is reimbursed for verified expenses up to this limit against receipt.

Errander reserves the right to remove tasks that fall within prohibited categories or are assessed to carry unacceptable risk, regardless of how the task is worded.

Payments and fees

Payments are processed by Stripe, including Stripe Connect for errander payouts.

Errander charges a 15% platform fee on the poster side for completed tasks as described on the site.

Swedish VAT (25%) applies on invoices where applicable as shown at checkout and on Stripe-generated invoices.

You authorise Stripe and errander to initiate charges, captures, transfers, and refunds according to the task lifecycle.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and enter into a distance contract with us, you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from the contract under Swedish distance-selling rules, unless an exception applies.

Withdrawal applies to our contract with you for the platform service. Contracts between posters and erranders for the physical task are separate and governed by the participants' agreement and applicable law.

Withdrawal does not apply if the service has been fully performed with your express consent and you have confirmed that you understand you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is complete.

To exercise withdrawal, contact us at hi@errander.eu within the period. If withdrawal is valid, we refund within fourteen days using the same payment method as the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

You may use the EU Commission's standard withdrawal form, but it is not required.

Escrow and disputes

Funds are held in escrow when you accept an errander, as implemented by Stripe.

When the errander marks work complete, the poster should confirm or raise a dispute within the dispute window described in the product (currently 24 hours after submission unless we notify you otherwise).

Note that the 24-hour window applies only to the platform's Stripe payment release mechanism and does not limit your statutory complaint rights. Where the errander is a registered business, the Consumer Services Act (KTjL) applies — a complaint made within two months of discovering a defect is always considered timely. Claims must be directed to the errander directly.

We may mediate disputes in good faith but are not a court. If you cannot resolve a dispute, national consumer or civil procedures may apply.

Identity verification

BankID via Criipto may be required for erranders to apply or receive payouts, or for certain high-trust tasks.

Verification is voluntary until the product requires it for your action — then it becomes a condition of using that feature.

Messaging

Use in-platform messaging respectfully. Do not share illegal content or try to move payments off-platform to avoid fees or protections.

Intellectual property

You keep rights to content you submit. You grant errander a licence to host, display, and process that content to operate the service.

The errander name, logo, and site design are ours — do not copy in a confusing way.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" to the extent allowed by law. Errander is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, except where such exclusion is not allowed.

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law.

Erranders act as independent contractors, not errander employees. Posters and erranders enter into contracts with each other through the platform; errander facilitates but is not a party to every aspect of the physical task.

Suspension and termination

You may delete your account in Settings at any time subject to completing open payment obligations.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk, or must be stopped for legal reasons.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law.

If you are a consumer and a dispute with us arises, we encourage you to contact hi@errander.eu first. You may also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at arn.se, which offers free assessment in many consumer disputes against traders.

You can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

ARN recommendations are not binding on you; you may still bring court proceedings.

As a consumer in the EU, you retain mandatory protections under the law of the country where you live, in line with EU consumer protection rules.

Unresolved disputes with us may be heard by a competent court under Swedish procedural law and EU rules on consumer jurisdiction; we do not designate exclusive courts in Gothenburg or elsewhere.
